  • Simultaneous offshore operations (including ROV and DP)
  • Sea and weather monitoring

  • Supervising dives
  • Briefings and debriefings
  • Emergency management
  • Dealing with diver incidents
  • Dive planning
  • 10 hours (worth 20 hours towards full certification) in diving simulator
  • Unique experience running one of 2 diving supervising simulators in the world!

This course is not NZQA approved and therefore not eligible for student loans and allowances.

  • SSBA 50m part 3 Onshore Supervisor 
  • 100 offshore dives (may claim up to 40 onshore part 3  Surd-02/Decompression dives)
  • 1st aid and oxygen provision within 12 months of issue
  • Letter from employer that recommends you as a supervisor
  • Communication skills and the ability to understand written and verbal communication in English
