ADAS Trainee Offshore Air Supervisor

What will I learn?

Theory Elements

  • Risk management and hazard identification
  • Managing people & conflict resolution
  • Emergency management
  • Simultaneous offshore operations (including ROV and DP)
  • Sea and weather monitoring
  • Permit to work

Practical:

  • Supervising dives
  • Briefings and debriefings
  • Emergency management
  • Dealing with diver incidents
  • Dive planning
  • 10 hours (worth 20 hours towards full certification) in diving simulator
  • Unique experience running one of 2 diving supervising simulators in the world!

and allowances.

Prerequisites 

  • ADAS Part 3 Onshore Supervisor Certification
  • 100 logged offshore dives (40 onshore dives can be logged-30-50m Deco/Surd-02 etc..)
  • 1st aid and oxygen provision within 12 months of issue
  • Letter from employer that recommends you as a supervisor
  • Communication skills and the ability to understand written and verbal communication in English
